We ship all around Australia!

All of the kayak paddles we stock are shipped directly from the wholesale warehouse in Melbourne to you, the customer. The cost saving from shipping directly allows us to offer you the kayaks at a discount to the recommended retail price.

We use Fastway to ship your order up to 25kg. Above 25kg we use Main Freight

To calculate the shipping we start out with a base rate for packages up to 5kg (this base rate varies depending on the destination), then add $4 for every 5kg over this intial 5kg. The base rates by destination are:

The shipping includes insurance for missing or damaged goods. It is very important, therefore, that you inspect the package before accepting delivery. If the product(s) appear to be damaged in shipment, do not accept delivery. If you discover damage after accepting delivery, you must contact the shipping carrier as soon as possible. They may not honour your claim if it is more than 24 hours after delivery. We try to ensure our customers receive their orders undamaged, and can assist you in filling a claim, but our responsibility for damage ends when the carrier accepts the shipment. Therefore it is important to quickly file claims with the carrier to insure that your claim can be documented for later reimbursement.

If your kayak is faulty when it arrives, please contact us immediately. The fault must be reported within 24 hours of arrival. Please send an email to info@ozkayakpaddles.com.au detailing exactly what the fault is and we will give you a return code and shipping instructions. In some cases, a replacement may be shipped to you, in some cases the fault may be repaired. The cost of shipping the kayak back to the manufacturer may be borne by the customer.

Please choose your kayak paddle carefully because you are responsible for the shipping and insurance costs associated with the return or exchange of your kayak paddle plus a restocking fee of 15%. This restocking fee also applies in the event that you decide to exchange your kayak paddle for a different kayak paddle from our website; you are also responsible for the difference in pricing on exchanges. The kayak paddle will not be refunded until we have received your kayak paddle at our Gold Coast, QLD location. The kayak paddle must be unused and in original packaging with all of the original contents. Please contact us before you return your kayak paddle so we can arrange the refund or exchange and help minimize shipping costs.
